Without knowing it, I have always worked by subtraction: perhaps out of simplicity, perhaps out of challenge, perhaps out of laziness. I like to discover a lot with little, the simplicity hidden inside the material and the surface, where the fear of the blank sheet actually is the idea itself.

Playing with paper is always a source of inspiration, it’s a remarkable form of self discovery which can create, when unfolded, singular shape, mood and form. And when the paper is in different colours combines to the twelve Chinese Zodiac symbols, the magic is real.
